the music bit.

Before you keep going, everybody who reads this (yeah, like all three of you) comment with a song you want me to download and record a cover version of. Doing this made me realise although I've got a pretty damn huge music collection there's very little that I can think of that perfectly fits different moments. That, and I'm hugely bored.

Then I need to you to get everyone else you know to come and comment too. Cheers.

I'm not objecting, I just wanted to do it. There's loads of songs I'd have liked to put in too but am too lazy to envisage the scenario.

You never posted a song for me to cover, either... *frown*

well, i would say "big sur" or "sunday morning" but don would murder me. bet you'd be fantastic at "sunday morning" though :). i really really want to hear "elephant parade" or the esotsm theme but i'm afraid i'd fall too deeply in love ;)

I think Damien Rice's Volcanoes fit the false hope aspects of life.
Or it always did for me.

Don't try it until this post is about twenty minutes old, I'm still uploading.

look who got bored and actually went through people's journals.

you know what would be positively awesome for you to cover? it's a song called "this year's love" by david grey. i dunno if you've heard it before, but it would be nice. "the sun" by maroon 5 would be nice, but no one else would like that song but me. eh.

oh, you know, the beatles did this fantastic cover of a song by the miracles called, "you've really got a hold on me." that song is so truth.

heehee, man i knew i'd go overboard.

FACT: White Ladder is the biggest selling album, of any genre, in Irish history.

I'll get on that. I'd do The Sun but I wouldn't manage the jumping in the first line of the chorus. I swear, Adam Levine must have some sort of testicular clampage.

i have this theory that adam levine is actually a eunuch. one of those brought up in a shakespearian neighborhood, where in their makeshift Globe they told him, "Adam, thou art destin'd for this here road. Speak the words of Shakespeare with pride and a flawless falsetto." and growing into his new skin, he realized, "This can't possibly it. I must run! I shan't be a woman no longer!" and ta-da. Maroon 5. years of agony over having no balls = great music.
